The incumbent will provide administrative support for the group’s teams, as it pertains to management of group files and processing of group quotes. They will also provide back up to group sales agents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide group agents with file administrative support including; names, payments, invoicing, ticketing and any other group updates required on B2B or B2C files;
  • Handle DIY group back end file management;
  • Process operational advisories as assigned;
  • Assist in processing of new quotes;
  • Responsible for the completion and distribution of destination advisory reports;
  • Assist sales agents when required;
  • Provide sales agent coverage when during absence;
  • Quality control of files;
  • Process airline special requests;
  • Adhere to department processes, policies & product updates;
  • Participate in travel shows, familiarization trips, product launches and training sessions as necessary.

Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years travel industry experience, groups or call centre experience an asset;
  • Travel and Tourism Diploma;
  • English (oral and written);
  • Proficient in TTS, Radixx, Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel;
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • TICO / OPC Certified;
  • Be analytical with above average understanding of accounting;
  • Possess a positive attitude and ability to work closely within a team environment;
  • Ability to make decisions, problem solve, multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Must be flexible & adaptable with working hours including shift work, weekends and statutory holidays.
